Transition Program
Purpose: The purpose of the Transition Program is to provide students
with barriers to employment an opportunity to learn about the world of work.
Transition Services offers students an opportunity to participate in a vocational curriculum which includes academic and practical applications for employment.
Work Experiences/Work Evaluations
are designed to assist teachers and students by placing students in a
community work setting appropriate to the student's interests and aptitude.
Career Club is designed to assist students by preparing them for the world of work. Students will learn how to obtain employment, gain soft skills knowledge, and how to maintain employment.
Life Skills Class is designed for students attending middle school. Life skills training has been specifically targeted to introduce basic work skills information and soft skills knowledge; and how they affect employment.
Community Based/Social Club is designed to introduce and expose students to opportunities and activities in their community. The Club offers services for social outlets typically not utilized by the students.
